Whilst Vessel’s primary focus is beer, we wanted to stock other drinks of equal quality to our beer selection.

We will have a small selection of spirits to start. For whisky we have chosen a Japanese favourite of ours and hope over time to expand the range. We also have a local gin and vodka and a Barbados spiced rum.

Nikka, All Malt, Whisky, 40% ABV
A blended Japanese whisky from Nikka, made with malt from Yoichi and a combination of malt and Coffey Still whisky from Miyagikyou. This Nikka All Malt is more complex than you would expect. It’s filled with flavour and highly drinkable.

Curio Spirit, Rock Samphire Gin, 41% ABV
Curio is produced in Mullion, deep in west Cornwall. This four times distilled Rock Samphire gin captures the light, fresh sea spray and wild aromas of the Cornish coast. Hand foraged on the local cliff tops, this rock samphire gin is blended with fragrant botanicals and distilled in small batches, for exceptional quality and a delicately smooth gin. We recommend trying it on its own over ice.

Black Cow Pure Milk Vodka, 40% ABV
Black Cow is the world’s first Pure Milk Vodka. This creamy vodka is produced from 100% whole milk of grass grazed cows in West Dorset. A crystal clear premium vodka, supremely smooth with a delicate creamy finish. Black Cow is easily sipped at room temperature.

Foursquare Spiced Rum, RL Seale, 37.5% ABV
This small family-run distillery makes some of the most popular rums in Barbados. Foursquare Spiced Rum is a hand-crafted blend of fresh using nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla. The actual recipe is a family secret passed down through five generations. Refreshingly smooth on ice, Foursquare Spiced doesn’t contain the added sugar cane syrup commonly found in many other spiced rums.
